They were on a downward spiral before he took ever... But it's awful anyway. Guess he'll lose his job.

Valencia was actually much, much better under Nuno.

I believe they were 4 points behind 4th with Nuno, now they're about to fight for staying in Primera.

Just a proof what media epl brainwashing can do. Neville looked so smart commenting on his high horse, didn't he?

They weren't anything close to that bad tbh
This team is turning from bad to worse ,no identity ,no game plan at least in attack

They were not good under Nuno. 8 losses in 20 games, also no game plan, they were already a mess.

Agreed. They did well enough last season though, right?

Either way, with the team already on a downward trend, hiring somebody with no experience, who can't speak the language, was a laughably bad move by Lim.

They were far better IMHO than this ,result and playing style was better
Firing Nuno was bad decision , it was just another "let's put the blame on the coach" decision .the team had a horrible summer and it was bound to hunt them .they still had hope to finish 4th b4 firing Nuno .now this

Nuno himself said he had to go. He wasn't getting thru to the players, it wasn't going to get better. The mess was there already. Problem is they chose a worse replacement.

That is what I am saying ;)

Firing a coach midway in the season is an act of desperation ,unless you are Chelsea it never works in your favor . it is done when you there is nothing to lose not when you just don't feel the squad is performing to your expectations
Valencia was total mess this summer ,many board changes and many problems .awful transfer market and the list goes on.their fans are impatient and their media is as bad as any in Spain .everyone just put pressure on him .from the club who had problems with Mendes and wanted to cut as much ties as they can .to the fans to the media etc .
There were very few coach who were gonna save them from this mess ,but since it is a mess they picked an awful manager

Well, they were bad. Just got worse. But keeping Nuno wasn't the solution either. As I said, they were already on a downward spiral. It didn't start with Gary's appointment.

Has any coach in Valencia history had a record as poor as Neville?
