They had such a great window, and then they do this. Kalinic in my opinion is not good enough even to be a backup for Atleti, it would've been better if they renewed Torres.

If Simeone truly wants to compete for CL and league then he has to utilize Gimenez, Correa and Partey. Correa as a second striker with Costa and Griezmann wide was and is much more effective

See Atleti being VERY dangerous this year.. good balance of defence and attack again.. full season with Godin/Gimenez (we saw them in the WC)

I said it. They had a great transfer window and are a real threat this season. These fuckers are back and are going to be a handful in the CL again. Even in the league they have some added creativity and impact players now that can grind out wins instead of the draws that put them back.

They had a good transfer window, poor start for them, all things considered.
Could well challenge for the cup and CL, not sure about the league.
