It must be some great irony that Fenerbahce, after fixing several matches in Turkey and having their president alleged for match fixing crimes etc. is banned from the Champions League last season and gets to the semi finals today... Zero tolerance Uefa

Fully deserved by Basel, IMHO...They were the better side over both legs but nearly blew it with predictably conservative tactics at home - where's the courage??

But terrific penalties from the Suisse and insanity from Adebayor - he should be beaten on the flight home

Basel were much the better side & have some really good players in the forward area's, they were pretty cool to watch.

That Salah kid won't be a Basel player for much longer I think. Extremely talented on the ball.

Basel deservedly go through. They were the better team in both games.

Dreadful tackle from Luiz, should have been a red card. And now a ridiculous penalty given to Basel. Two terrible decisions but you could argue that they cancel each other out.
