It's a weird situation because it genuinely feels like City have made English football better regardless.

Well, they do play some great football. If you take that away from City they are just another state backed oil club, the english version of PSG. They also have the luck of playing in a great football competition like the Premier League.

FTFY

but yeah, just their academy is something to marvel at and they certainly put alot of work in which will hopefully pay off for our national team.

off the field the owners are probably level with PSG on scumness but i don't agree they would just be another oil club, they seem to have a system in place especially when you look at their transfer targets. they wouldn't blow 200mil+ on a Brazilian diva for starters

city have been achieving good/great success in the EPL lately but the EPL was great long, long before they made their mark.

United's 07-09 team and their 99 team is stronger than anything city have put out.

Chelsea 04-05 is also stronger IMO.

Arsenal were also great in their heyday.

Nope, this is a wrong fix
City improved English football before Pep, and offered a breath outside of Manu-Chelsea dominance since 2004.
Mancini and Pellegrini all played a part of it.
Pep actually might be changing it the opposite way, he will make it one horse race that will probably affect the likes of Manu and Liverpool negatively

Uncharacteristically average so far, despite the fortunate 1-0 scoreline at the half - very stagnant, Pep surely pissed
