Shows just how much of a plastic sugar daddy club they are, couple seasons which they don't spend 150m for transfers and they are back to being nobodies in europe and mid table in bpl, just like they were for their whole history before the russian money.

Turns out Chelsea are the worst Premier League title defence.
After their game against Sunderland, Chelsea has 48 points with 2 games to go, the maximum points they can get is 54.
Which means they can't mathematically overtake Liverpool at 8th with 55 points and can only finish 9th or lower.
Chelsea are guaranteed to beat Moyes's and Blackburn's record of 7th place for the worst title defence of the Premier League era.
