well because they still have the current one till the end of the season.
However, I do think it's a beautiful design overall. But it looks more like a corporate logo, than that of a football club.
Where is the raging bull? Where is the crown? Those had historical contexts, their crest was embodying tradition and culture. The new one however is completely soulless, even if it looks good. Also don't get why they have allegedly spent 200k on the design and why it took more than half a year to make it.

Thats not the point, they are making their own brand, and it will appeal to non-football fans, they will make alot of money of this.

I know all that but still the logo is pure crap. For example City's new logo is much better than the old one.

Their "new" logo is a variation of their historical one. Looks great.
