Tbf Giroud had a decent tournament, but it seems past NT achievements are the only thing Deschamps values.

Midfield is sooo stacked though.

Midfield and Defense(CB and LB) wise are stacked for France.

Guys like Laporte,Zouma,Diop,Sarr etc will have a tough time getting a chance (CB) wise at this point in time with the emergence of Kimpembe and add Umtiti's performances so far this season and his Euro performances and Varane being a starter it's tough.

Think you were the only dude expecting Benzema to be called up lol. Even if by miracle he had been his press statements a couple days ago would have taken him out of there.

It's a very good list except for Laporte being ignored until the end of days. Hopefully Giroud doesn't keep scoring and other 9's get a shot.

Strange that Zouma got called up but Laporte didn't, considering Zouma didn't play a lot this season.
