"It's sad for Argentinian football that a professional such as Mr. Dibos, who worked with us in the NT, tries to make responsible for such a serious situation. I can accept criticism for my performances, but not these types of accussations. I have a clear consciense, as I have never intervened in any manager's decisions. The things I've shared with him and my opinion regarding his professionalism, I will keep for myself. I am deeply sorry that Argentinian football has to deal with someone of that level."

It has been speculated even before this guy said this that Mascherano and Messi are dictating call ups but I think the rest of his comments are ridiculous and Argentina didn't need this can of worms.

To add some context of this stat.

Messi played against Chile (both away and home), Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia and Uruguay.

When Messi wasn't available, Argentina lost against the likes of Ecuador & Paraguay at home and Bolivia away. They managed to draw against Peru, Paraguay and Venezuela.
