Why did he call seniors like Ramos, Alba and Sergio and leave Thiago, Silva, Isco at home? Two of those have nothing to play for this season.

Don't understand some of those (if not quite a few) call ups from Lucho. One of the most average looking (at least on paper) NT call-ups that I can recall in the recent era. However given that we are playing the likes of Malta and Norway (all due respect to both) some of the names called up make sense. Although I suspect that our U-21 team would defeat both of those NT teams.:lol:

Anyway typical of Lucho as he is a new coach and is "experimenting" whenever possible.

A bit of a shame that the likes of Alba, Busquets and Roberto could not rest.

Very happy to see Fabián Ruiz get his first chance and also the likes of Hermoso.

When you look at the Squad and XI, you can just say "Yep that's a Lucho XI"

Just one of the weakest Spain XI's in ages. :lol:

Still technically miles above. Nice one-touch passing, not the static game we've come to expect from Barça.
