It's the pinnacle of the game. Nothing in the club game comes close to winning a big international tournament.

What an opener to a world cup it was, it set the bar too high though, hard to top a game like that, and there were quite a few boring ones(France - Denmark.....).

Yeah imo this was the best match. I live in Germany and the german commentator who said the whole match negative things about Ronaldo was sure that Cristiano will also miss the freekick in the last minute but CR7 scored and silenced him. It was a fantastic feeling :hooray:
