Probably not enough reputation. I think Alves has been a solid gk for years. Not the best with his feet but an incredible shot stopper.

He's Brazilian I think unless we have another Diego Costa situation in the making. Another head banging decision when you consider Scolari not once picked him.

Just goes to show that anybody can be a "professional" scout or manager.

I don't remember exactly but he has probably saved more than 24 pens out of 50+

Can't disagree with that! But still, I d pick Alves over that Man Utd's bench warmer any day of the week
Would be nice for us to hav him as a subtitute goalie though!

Romero is one of the last players that should be blamed for Argentina's performances. He has done well for them.

He's still a box of chocolates type of goalkeeper, like Valdes/Muslera... you never know what you're gonna get. Could be amazing, could be useless.
