Watched the friendly yesterday. Boring 0-0 overall but a few observations.
G-Spot is going to be good for this level. Instantly visible that he will be one of our best attacking players this year (with Konrad). Doesn't have the raw pace to beat his man however, but plenty of trickery and shooting instinct.
Solano is going to be great at this level
Ilaix was best midfielder when he come on. He is going to develop alot this season.
Hiroki is back. Good for him.
20 minutes for Balde but he looked decent in them. Might be an idea to find Miranda an exit to a lower LaLiga side (Cucu style) or even Segunda and bet on Balde.
Overall, from this match seems the rebuild team will be gunning for midtable with a chance of upper table with a good run.
Lastly, can we just invest in a good young 5-10m 9 and develop them? Enough of these false 9's, low quality 23/24 year olds and nobody through LaMasia. RedBull Salzburg and their feeder team seem to find great 9s every year and yet here we are with Rey Manaj, Gabriel Novoes the year before and nothing coming through the academy.

Fati was supposed to be their starting 9 last year before he was promoted directly to first team.
I like that idea.
Miranda had his time with Barca B, he needs to go
Good to hear, if he keeps it up he might end up loaned for 1st division team in top 5 leagues next season, and may be sold for a profit the year after.

Looks like we've found our striker, Joaquin Zeballos is coming on loan from Girona.He'll turn 24 next month so another short-term solution. He didn't play much since joining Girona in March (quite understandably with Stuani there) but was scoring in every other game in Uruguayan 2nd Division which I assume is somewhere on a similar level than Segunda B. Anyway, he probably can't be worse than Rey Manaj.
