Morey, Miranda, Ruiz and Sergio Gomez.

There will be a massive gap between that u19 tournament and the B team while at least a couple of those are in positions already being covered by La Masia/young players,

Throwing them all in at 17 just because named in that ream could be the worst thing for them and the team.

Is not as simple as just saying they should all start.

Phil Foden is getting playing time in Man City. Was in the same tournament.

Foden who was player of the tournament and may well be better than those players at Barca.

Not saying no players from that tournament would be ready just dont assume they are because did quite well in it.

Abel Ruiz was 2nd best player. 3-4 of them were in the best XI.

The 4 players that were in the best 11 of the under 19 WC should be starters and are on the bench..

It was U17 WC. All those four players were born in 2000 so their time to show what they can do in Barça B will come in next years. And 3 of them have established La Masia starters at their positions in B team (Morey-Palencia, Miranda-Cucu, Sergio Gomez-Alena) so it's not like they are not playing because of the "outside" players. And because they wouldn't get much minutes it's better for them to stay and play regularly in Juvenil A instead of warming the bench in Barça B. But when Cucu was injured for 2 games at the start of the season Miranda was given a chance even though we have two other LBs in Barça B.

We are apparently close to sign Nahuel Leiva on loan. I'm wondering if this means Arnaiz will stay with the first team.

Valverde: "I like small squads. You don't have to exclude many players [from a match squad], and you can give opportunities to B team players."

Looks like there will be some changes over the next few days.

Rivera has La Liga experience so he could help us. Would be also nice to have a buy option but maybe we can buy him in summer if he'll convince. His contract with Eibar runs up in 2019 and IIRC his release clause is around 8M.

We were already interested in Nahuel in summer but Betis rejected us. I'd say luckily because otherwise we probably wouldn't buy Arnaiz. Now it seems we'll get Nahuel too. Maybe we just want more depth but could be also a sign that Arnaiz will be used more in the first team with Deulofeu, Vidal and Rafinha all likely to go.

He has barely played this season so not surprising if he'll leave.
