Marco Verratti

To force what ? HE HAS A CONTRACT. HE SIGNED AN EXTENSION LAST YEAR.... Isn't clear He can't move whitout the agreement of the club. And Nasser was clear.

How ADM joined PSG, same way Verratti has to do. ADM didn't attend the training sessions and forced united hand to sell him, if verratti is serious he will do the same. And if he does it would dangerous not to sell him, players will think thrice before signing any contract with PSG. Sell him and sign more superstars, you guys surely have the money. If Verratti doesn't force the move nothing will happen.

BarcaBarca, we never wanted Nolito too much.
We were lukewarm.

Ramos wasn't going to a bigger club.
That would have been a step down, going from RM to anywhere else.

Thiago Silva never really was in love with us.
We only wanted him.

Verratti in the past 2-3 years wasn't the same.
We wanted him, and he never said that he wanted to come and he never made some strong hints or steps.

So again, Barca and Verratti this time, a totally different story than all these cases above.

This is a true two-sided love, mate.

Ramos was clearly using United for a new contract, same way ronaldo will use them now. I am not sure if Verratti is doing the same thing but lets hope not, surely PSG must be frustrated giving contract extension every 6 months right? Best to sell him and sign James.

Did you start watching football yesterday?

Players have had long contracts, yet still forced their way out of a club.

Now you will say PSG is not that and that Nasser is not this and that and what not, but will you really punish a player and keep him on the bench or keep him against his will so that your dressing room potentially stinks up?

Leave your PSG googles off for a moment and think with your head about the repercussions it could have.

Suarez signed an extension and he left the next window, ADM just signed for united he left the next window. This is all common, forcing people to fulfill their contract against players wish is stupid, but Naseer is qatari so i know where he gets those ideas. Fucking scum. I am so glad our fiasco with Qatar Airways is done.

If by some miracle this actually happens, he will cost a ridiculous amount and he is injury prone too. People think he will be some sort of savior and we wont have any money to spend other than for this guy anyway. We have truckloads of garbage on high wages which is very difficult to shift.

We don't need that many players, we just need one CM and a RB. And to sell the garbage, signing Verratti instead of Seri or Perajo is much better.

Suarez messed up with his terrible behavior in the WC and Liverpool was much poorer than Barca at the time. Was United really that interested in keeping Di Maria compared to Verratti who is crucial for PSG?

ADM was benched by Van Gaal, he didn't want him. ADM was clear from the begining. That's not the case with Verratti. He is desired in the club.
Stop comparing cases with nothing common.

Our CBs are aging, Iniesta's legs are done, question marks over Raki, no RB, Messi able to play RW in his 30s? Sell garbage? How do you do that? We have to pay lots of money for their wages in addition to loaning them out. Selling garbage is not the Barca way. And we have a lot of garbage these days, with high wages.

We can get Fabinho for 45m, Lemar for 50m and Naby Keita for 40m. None of those are injury prone. Verratti is more of a pipe dream than anything else at this point.

Suarez just didn't want to stay at Liverpool but wanted to join a top club. He was just to good for Liverpool. They sold him because he wanted to leave badly. United didn't really want to keep Di Maria that's why he was sold. His performance was not what they expected from him. His season at United was not that good. But if a player wants to leave then it's always better to let him leave.

Circumstances differ yes, but ADM did force his way out. But it was made easier by the fact that United weren't really interested in keeping him. He was always going to leave and he made that clear.

And coming to Suarez, my point was being contract extensions mean nothing. It is just a way to get higher salary.

With Pique, Marlon and Umtiti and potential signing of Yerry Mina i hardly call that aging. Iniesta is nearing his end of career and raki impact is reduced, that is why we need a good midfielder like verratti. Right back we need to sign anyway. If he doesn't we will go for Dembele, probably next window. That is why we are signing Deulofeu a temporary solution. Selling unwanted players is tough, but even getting some of their wages of the wage structure is a bonus. Arda and Mathieu should leave, Rafinha maybe.

Fabinho, Lemar and Keita? None of them will make an impact like Verratti. Fabinho is a DM, we don't need one right now unless you plan to sit Busi on the bench. If he strictly plays at RB then we could go for him, but he want to play at DM position apparently. Lemar is a wide midfielder and winger and definitely good enough to compete with Messi and Neymar. Naby Keita has potential but definitely not an improvement over the likes of Raki and Iniesta. He could be the backup option though along with Seri. All the names you suggested are middle tier, signing them would be a huge mistake if we could sign Verratti instead of them. 3 players wages will be higher than one player wage. Also we already have too many players in the squad we don't need more fringe players.

If Verratti really wanted to leave the club, why did he sign contract extension EVERY YEAR ?

For the moment we only have his agent opening his mouth with ambivalent remarks ... Nothing concrete on his intentions.

It's another saga to sell paper maybe some people here are bored.
