Marco Verratti

Barçapocalypse NOW!
This is hilarious, I just don't know if the joke will last long... This saga will go on all summer and in the end we'll end up paying 60 million for Dani Parejo...

Ah, but he likes Messi on facebook, he is coming!

If he is using this for a new contract, I hope he signs it quickly so that we don't waste the summer chasing him.

The 100m/10m salary offer is already on the table so the saga shouldn't drag on for too much longer.

Won't be so sure about that, but if Verratti want to move he has to do his best to force a way out, burn all bridges. Make it a media battle.

Not sure QSI and PSG want more bad publicity these days, but those guys are also stubborn as hell.

To be clear, I don't think this transfer will happen, For he simple fact i don't see verratti willing to cause a scene and make a fuss about this, He'll accept a new contract and be a good boy as with every season.
My point was to show that no club will force a player to stay if there is a reasonable offer for him, This "We're not a selling club" is just a fake power play.

If they don't want him to leave he should sabotage them then. Not going to preseason would be a good start, talking to media about it would be excellent.

Remember Modric saga before going to Real, that was exhausting, but Lewy couldn't keep him, and PSG won't keep Verratti if he REALLY wants to leave.

Well, things are pretty simple for Verratti. If he wants to have a great career, like the likes of Iniesta, Modric, Kroos Busquets etc. he should push for a move. If he doesn't want to be remembered as one of the best players of his generation, he can stay at PSG until he retires or until he is older.

Right now, he is not developing. He is not better than he was 2 years ago. He is almost the same, because the club itself is not able to break into the best teams in the world group. So, of course there are frustrations, because every player wants to do great things, and be a winner on a grand scale.

Can he do that at PSG? Not really. Can he get paid and be comfortable in Paris? Sure he can. So, it's a matter of priorities. Barca will continue to be great with Serri instead of Verratti because unlike PSG, we have monstrous players in the squad.

How will Thiago Silva be remembered after all these years at PSG? As an underachiever. What did he actually do in the highest echelon of football? Not much. Very little for a player who was once compared with the likes of Maldini or Nesta, while at Milan.

So, for Verratti, it's very much a choice between being comfortable, and being a winner. There are attractions in both things, so his ambition to be viewed as one of the leading players of his generation must overcome the need for comfort and less pressure, which everybody has to some degree. Some make the next step in their careers, some never make it and settle with less for a comfortable career and an easier time.

Are you serious?
Verratti is miles ahead of the one-season wonder in Seri

Seri is good enough. Verratti is better, no one is denying that. But we have won big titles without him and he is not quintessential to our success.

Well, players look good all the time when playing at lower level tournaments.
He might as well not even withstand the pressure of playing at a higher level.

And he's only had one breakthrough season and at 26 he's not exactly a prospect.

That's why it's better we go for players who have at least been proven and have the grit needed to get by

Says Barca want Verratti and confident he wants to leave PSG, but PSG doesn't want to sell.

the key is for Veratti to force his way out.

Yes, but you obviously didn't as you failed to comprehend it. Even after playing with your computer and bolding that sentence, you managed to miss out the second half of the sentence after.

Strange thing is that you are more concerned about this than Serghei who had no problem replying to me
