Does the Gamper ever sell out?

I was wondering if the Gamper game will get close to selling out due to the much cheaper tickets or no?

Aug 22, 2011 (Napoli) - 78002
Aug 25, 2010 (Milan) - 96195
Aug 19, 2009 (Manchester City) - 94123

I've no idea what it will be like this year...

Damn, I would love to have seen any of those teams vs Barca in the gamper. I understand why it is Sampdoria but honestly wish it was someone like Juventus/Man Utd/Bayern. Thanks for the info, ill grab my tickets today.

If I remember correctly, there were less than 60.000 visitors this year. The timing was extremely bad (1 day after our first league-game), and the fact that none of our A-team featured (barring Villa and Afellay) didn't really help either. Hope that the timing will be better next year.
