Tello staying with Barca

That's two pretty big advantages to have.....

Sure, those are absolutely two good qualities. But in the Barca system, it's much more important to have Cuenca's skillset: spacing & positioning, passing, holding possession, and just general comfort and fluidity within the attack. That way you're using two of the best players in the world more effectively (assuming Villa is 100%) who have the two qualities you mentioned.

It's good he stays, he really should benefit from alot more minutes, he is capable of improving.

He should stay, he's done well. In a sense he singlehandedly provides a good plan B. If he had scored when he was through against Real he would be called a hero. Fine he missed it, but he's young and at least he's trying. You miss all the shots you don't take, maybe in future he'll put more of them in. Give him a full preseason with the team followed by a full season to judge him properly.

His willingness to shoot and his excellent number of goals last year sure bode well for his potential. I think he will be a great asset this year, he'll enter most games as supersub. Both Tello and Pedro have what it takes to be the best sub in the world.

I'd loan Cuenca and keep Tello. Cuenca is a joy to watch, while Tello is fast, decisive, courageous and enthusiastic.
