I really don't get it, why are players overpriced these days, for example, Liverpool paid Newcastle £35 million pounds for Andy Carroll, he's worth £15 million pounds at least, no more than that, also Neymar is apparently worth £50 million pounds or more, excuse my ignorance for a moment but has he done anything to suggest he's worth that, i'm not saying he's a bad player or anything like that, its just the hype around him.

Just trolling, the mods will move it.

I dont think Im competent enough to give you an answer tho, it comes down to negotiations between the clubs imho.

its ok and also agents want more money as well, maybe that's why a players fee goes up.

The price of English players is inflated due to how few good ones there are, and because of how much compensation lower league clubs get when their youth is poached. The EPPP should address this.
