    Mario Mandzukic

Mario Mandzukic (26) from Wolfsburg and former Dinamo Zagreb player.
He is currently joint top goalscorer of the Euro with Gomez.

He is born in the close region to another Croatian energetic forward, Ivica Olic, and shares much of his mentality.

At least he doesn't choke like the self-proclaimed best player in the world.

Didn't mean any offense. Just an honest opinion

Muller, Gyan, whoever else also were supposed to be Ozil caliber breakouts and while Muller still has a lot of time I doubt he will be any better than he can get when playing for Germany.

    He won't be joining Newcastle......................

and I agree, it would be a bad career move if he joined Newcastle.

He's very talented (tall, skillful, direct, athtletic), but he lacks drive and consistency for the very top level.

@ "lacks drive". That's one of his finer points actually. He's a type of a player that never gives up and often does the donkey work for the team.
What he lacks is technique of Barca quality and he isn't really a goalscorer. Everyone who followed his career will tell you that.

Didn't score but another epic match for Mandzo. Wolfsburg will be lucky if they keep him this summer.
