    Álvaro Pereira

Álvaro Daniel Pereira Barragán is an Uruguayan footballer who plays for Futebol Clube do Porto in Portugal. On the left side, he can play as either a defender or midfielder.

Best choice for LB and I'm going to tell you why:

    1. He's Uruguayan.
    2. He's not a midget like Alba.
    3. He can defend better than Alba and Bale.
    4. He trolled the shit outta Evra.
    5. He's Uruguayan.

Alvaro is better defensively but weaker offensively than Alba. The question is what the manager preferes cause there just aren't enough available players who can perform very well on both like Alves does...

I would preffer him over Alba or Bale, but being a Porto player, I expect them to demand 40 million euros for him.

He was exceptional for Uruguay during the Copa America. Any Porto fans here who can tell us more?

He played at CFR Cluj(Romania) before and I really liked his skills.

I approve. Anyway in regards to a defender his defending should be a higher priority then his attacking play.
