No one is even mentioning the void created by Bastian's departure . He used to put in lot of hardwork in defensive aspects which was vital . Kroos obviously can't do that which was evident in Carlo's last season with Madrid .

Alpha ter Stegen was asked about Cillessen possibly leaving for playing time and him wanting more minutes for Barca. Said he understands, but that's a decision he must take himself and that he himself( MAtS) want to be the #1 and play everything, that the World knows, that the club knows and that Jasper knows as well.

Sounded like he was warning the club against pulling that game sharing schtick against him again.

Guys! Ter Stegen is close to unlocking an achievement: "Dribble opponent players - 289/300".

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a bonus condition stipulated in his contract. FC Variables :bartomeu:

Ter Stegen ended up 7th place (10 votes out of 475) for the award of Germany's POTY 2018.

Got published in Kicker's magazine and 475 sports writers from Germany voted for it.

The award is eligible for all Bundesliga players + Germans aboard
