Jeffren probably won't be playing in the B team though... And there is a chance that some others will get promoted too, although I doubt they will be given full senior contracts.

It does because if Atlčtic get relegated and just generally play bad, the players won't grow individually. Playing in a bad environment or a bad team won't help you. Also with relegation comes a lower standard of play and a larger gap between reserve and senior squads. Originally Posted by FlyLo

Atlčtic won their first match of the season against Gavŕ, 3-1 away. Most importantly for me, Muniesa, JDS and Gai all started (and fontas didn't). Gai even got on the scoresheet although his goal was a cross deflected by a defender. Tomorrow they play 3 for 3 winners Denia at home, so it will be a very tough match. Best news so far is that we're 1 place about Espanyol B

Yes I agree about Gai, it's his first season playing at this level so far (fingers crossed) without injuries. Glad to see it.

We totally owned Sabadell.
I finally liked our defensive lineup. Barta, Muniesa and Montoya...
Muniesa scored a goal...
Gai played well, and that Soriano was great too - he also scored. Again that Elvis was crap...
Guy that replaced Gai scored. I don`t know who he is, but he is pretty good

Barca B drew at home vs. Alcoyano. Luis Enrique had many players missing due to youth internationals.
