Default Penalty Kick Count: Real Madrid vs Barcelona

I don't think this is anything to really start an argument over, but I was just curious to see the actual numbers of penalties rewarded to RM vs Barcelona. Mostly because we all get that weird feeling that they get dug out of games by the help of refs. I'm not saying it's true. It's a big accusation. Just wanna throw the numbers out and see what people think. In the end, all it could mean is that Real Madrid plays better and the opponents has to foul them.

    -----------------

    Penalty awarded to RM:
8 Total (I need to double check. There could be more, but this is all I've seen for La Liga games)

3 penalties given when RM where already dominating the game, so the penalties decided nothing.

3 penalties given when RM were tied, then award a penalty. These games were:
4-2 vs Getafe (Tied @ 1-1, RM wins penalty)
6-2 vs Rayo Vellecano (Tied @ 2-2, RM wins penalty)
4-1 vs At. Bilbao (Tied @ 1-1, RM wins penalty)

2 appeals for penalties when games was tied by opponent teams:
4-0 vs Espanyol (Espanyol appeal for penalty denied)
3-2 vs Valencia (Valencia appeal for penalty denied)

    -----------------

    Penalties awarded to Barcelona:
    2 Total in La Liga

    0-0 vs Sevilla (Penalty missed @ 90')

Other penalty given when Barcelona were already dominating.

    -----------------

Overall, it's not up to penalties to win us the league. We should win our games and not have to rely on them. But just wanted to dig out the facts for everyone.

9 it is. I wonder if they will finish with 20 penalties and us with 4.

Guardiola: "There are 5 million people who don't have a job in Spain, so why would we complain if we're not given a penalty?"

    Truth!

Pep is always keeping it real.
