To me it looks like Mourinho knows he's not going to win this.

Same thing if Benzema plays instead of Higuain who scored against Mallorca. If I'll play 3 midfielders they'll criticise because I should attack. If I'll play offensive they'll say I should put more people in the midfield.

Very telling. He's basically making excuses beforehand by underlining that CdR isn't that important and the loser will have an advantage. He's admitting that he won't be able to present a flawless lineup and will end up being criticised at the end. And he says he'd rather not watch the game.

I'm not worried anymorenow. got this. Whenever Mourinho came to the press with such insecure lines, he ended up losing.
(...) and Carrick was faced with Xavi and Iniesta coming past him, and Messi in behind him. That’s 3rd, 2nd and 1st in last year’s World Footballer of the Year award forming a triangle around him – he desperately needed help (...)

    - ZonalMarking

Barca hold a key advantage here again, however, where Busquets has carved out a niche in shadowing deep-lying attackers. He knows what they eat for breakfast.

Pep should have a weekly talk show where he can sermonize to the masses
Paolo Maldini - "In my opinion, Messi should win the Golden Ball each year. He's an unbelievable player."

    Pep wins again.

    who would've thought...
Alfredo Di Stéfano, Real Madrid's greatest ever player and the honorary president, spoke out. "Barcelona's football was simply brilliant," he said in his weekly column. "Their superiority was there for the whole planet to see: the whites were cornered all game. Barcelona play football and dance. They treat the ball with adoration and respect, almost nurturing it. To see this team in action is a delight."

    nice comment.

not playing for personal prestige eh? so what does this mean?:

If Ramos plays as RB, they will criticise me because he is better in the center. If Coentrao plays on the right they'll criticise, because he is left footed. If Lass plays they'll say that in Khedira's absence he is needed in the center of midfield. they say, they criticise, they, them,.... All that's in his head is how the media will picture him. if you really played for your club you'd do what you think is right for your team and ignore what others have to say unless they are constructive, because you've given your all,you don't care how they're going to react to every detail because you know you've tried so hard to get the best for the team, it's not about personal glory and praise it's about team success.

the fact that he contradicts himself like this and actually admits to stuff like that points to his lack of confidence and poor mentality ,despite what he tries to show, and how he transmits it to a star studded squad. very poor for him and all his past trophies.

Bravery is Pep's style. he's not a coward. even when he loses, he loses with dignity. He knows it's part of this beautiful ride with Barca and that he has given his all for the club he loves and represents.

"I give you my word that we will work hard. I don’t know whether we’ll win but we will always try hard. So fasten your seat-belts, you’re going to enjoy the ride”
    Pep Guardiola

And We did enjoy the ride, Pep, Thank you for every thing.

so much for taking the pressure off his players eh? now he is being affected by the pressure so much that it has directly affected his player's mentality as well as his.
