I concur Rooney's finding. Pepe is an idiot and I too don't mean it as an insult. It's more of a diagnose.
My roomate is Realista. He says Pepe's just doing what his boss Mourinho ordered him to do.I think he's right.

That's a copout to merely blame Mou...Mou is orchestrating this thuggery but let's not try to sweep Pepe's behaviour under the rug there...Pepe has been like this before Mou...If anything he was likely all too eager to show just how much a thug he is

yeah but it's ronaldo... he probably got carried away by his goal.

that picture makes me wonder though, how many times unmarked situations like that are not exploited, thank god for leo messi huh?

I still think it's Alintop's fault there if blame is going to be given

it's Altintop's fault in the first place .. he did a mistake .. so CR should've coverd him right away .. gladly he didn't

but take a close look at RM's defence postioning .. Pepe who is DM is in CB .. Coentrao as well .. Altiontop forgot he's RB .. so it's Mourinho's fault after all ..

It sounds believable in certain extent, but I doubt it Mourinho would ask Pepe to hurt other players in non-play time. Nevertheless, everyone is given a brain to think with and take their own decisions. I saw the demented Pepe kicking a player on the ground and besides being punishable by red card, I think this behaviour is borderline criminal. That was not Mourinho's fault. Speaking about the player Pepe, I suspect his price dropped in half right in that same instant. The subsequent stamping on Messi's hand probably cut the remainder in half again. Going this way, hes not going to be worth jack soon.

Last year, I thought the two games a week did get to RM late in the season, but that experience should help them this year. Barca is awfully good coping with two games a week, but that hardly seems possible for the next 4+ months with Villa, Afellay and Fontas out. The roster is just too small. I hate to say it, but Barca might be best off getting knocked out of Copa del Rey this week, that would maximize their chances in the two competitions that matter.

well not really, if Barca win the tie it will be just another 3 games added to the schedule (semis+final), I don't think we should knock ourselves out of a tournament just so that we have 3 games less for the remainder of the season, especially when you look at the opposition before us.

I admitt I am not familier with Pepe's behaviour before Real, but I know Mourinho. In Chelsea he absolutely INSISTED that his players under any circumstances may not kick the ball outside when rival's player lays down injured.I remember people being laying unconcienss-those were moments when Chelsea would attack harder then ever. And pressing players without mercy with constant rough fouls-remember using Inter's pitbulls Lucio,Samuel,Materazzi?Believe me,although you don't have to,nobody ever humiliate him so many times as we did,and that man has no scrupules in his desire to defeat us.He never bought a midfielder with great technique, only kerbers! And now he is faced with Messi who makes a fool out of him over and over again,so he called Pepe and said:"Make him suffer.Make him feel the pain.Make his life living hell.I want that boy scared, uninspired, invisible.Do whatever you need to do.I'll cover your ass in media".Pepe smiled and said:"Yes,boss"
