Alfredo Di Stéfano, Real Madrid's greatest ever player and the honorary president, spoke out. "Barcelona's football was simply brilliant," he said in his weekly column. "Their superiority was there for the whole planet to see: the whites were cornered all game. Barcelona play football and dance. They treat the ball with adoration and respect, almost nurturing it. To see this team in action is a delight."

considering all of the money Real has spent, it is bound to happen ... again ... and again ... and again.

it's going to happen in the CL again too. this is merely the appetizer.

holy fuck...why why why why why why why why why why why why...WHY!?!?! I can't deal with another clasico, then deal with the media madness since this is a two-legged tie. I have a strong feeling Madrid will sneak off something, and mourinho maybe doing a ridiculous speech since he will never shut up. on the positive side: I can see penaldo choking on the ties . But I really hope these two clasicos will be our final ones until april. I will not be the happiest guy if we run up in the UEFA Champions League, but sadly it is very possible.

i think madrid have won only one classico in the last 11, or something. Although barca have looked poor away from home, they always seem to step it up vs madrid. I expect the same high pressured start as last time, but hopefully without the mistake and early goal. The only thing that bothers me is that we always seem to start big games slowly, and that messi's away form isnt particularly impressive -goal wise-

oh, and im guessing Pinto will play.

a win would be nice, but a score draw is more likely.
