Buying a Messi, Penaldo, Rooney and Gomez shirt should suffice for the next few years.
(...) and Carrick was faced with Xavi and Iniesta coming past him, and Messi in behind him. That’s 3rd, 2nd and 1st in last year’s World Footballer of the Year award forming a triangle around him – he desperately needed help (...)

    - ZonalMarking

Barca hold a key advantage here again, however, where Busquets has carved out a niche in shadowing deep-lying attackers. He knows what they eat for breakfast.

The most disappointing thing about Barca's performance on Sunday night, was the fact that it was common knowledge that this game was probably our third toughest of the La Liga season. And still, Barca totally failed to show up. Especially Xavi, Messi and Asexis. Three ultra-key players.

It is the first time that I was so disappointed with our level of play in a big game since that stupid semi with Inter.

But I think that Barca have not nearly peaked as yet this season.

The best, is certainly to come.

And the best will be too late then.

If Real Madrid is still ahead of us by then, we will see the biggest aeroplane parked in the Camp Nou anyone could ever imagine. Inter Milan in 2010 will appear like Brazil 1982. Even Airbus will be proud of Mourinho and offer him a job.

Great game by our bitter rivals, they displayed exactly how to break our defense down.

I wish we could have pulled it off, but certainly a fair score. Had me at the edge of my seat the whole game!!

We clearly lack motivation in away games this season. CLEARLY. About fucking time Pep sticks the boot in and tells them we wont come near RM if we keep losing this many points away from home. Our general play this season has been up and down. We've had some great moments but some real shitty moments too. We are a much better team then Espanyol and there should be NO excuses. Anything can happen but Real KNOW how to win these types of games-at the moment we dont. Thats why I think 5 points is too large a gap to make up.

Some people need to calm down with their unreal expectations. It is a long season yet
When Mourinho insisted that he and Guardiola were the same, the Barcelona coach said: "I will have to revise my behaviour then."

Yep, you can all start abandoning ship if we're still in the same boat come April.
