In my opinion hes far superior to Masch

ignoring the fact that he was really born a CF ,Pique is a natural CB so between him and Masch I'd go with Pique but only if I wanted a pure CB, which wasn't my intention. Seeing how attack crazy this midfield is, I wanted some free electron ,aka monster, to go back and forth between defense and midfield, And Masch was the best selection among the choices, being very intelligent and tactically and positionally aware and providing mouth watering last ditch tackles. This will give us some very useful fluidity between defense and midfield. We wont loose the flow from the back because we'll have Hummels () as ball playing CB, who is smart and comfortable on the ball to get it to the front, plus being tall and fast enough to cover for the back, even when we switch to three at the back with monster Masch in midfield.
However using the likes of Di Maria in this team is only possible after him being pepslapped the shit out of him and burning all the white stuff he's ever had.
