Portugal have Ronaldo and Nani upfront, Moutinho and R. Meireles in midfield and basically the complete Real Madrid defense at the back: Coentrao, Carvalho, Pepe. That's a decent team to be honest. On paper, the Netherlands aren't so much better.
(...) and Carrick was faced with Xavi and Iniesta coming past him, and Messi in behind him. That’s 3rd, 2nd and 1st in last year’s World Footballer of the Year award forming a triangle around him – he desperately needed help (...)

    - ZonalMarking

Barca hold a key advantage here again, however, where Busquets has carved out a niche in shadowing deep-lying attackers. He knows what they eat for breakfast.

    - Paul Morrissey

Germany will qualify, for sure, but the other spot is totally up for grabs. the Dutch with a fit Robben and Sneijder are a serious threat - but will they be fit? and Afellay, who has turned into a serious player for them when Robben is out - how good will he be after spending so long out injured? could be a similar situation to Arsenal in that RVP has to carry them.

Portugal are more likely to get something from Germany and the Netherlands than Denmark, but then I'd back Denmark to beat Portugal in their encounter. so it's really gonna be interesting to see who can make it happen.

all in all, this group is gonna be stonkin' good fun. and we should savour it, because this'll be the last great "Group of Death" in the Euros.

    1. Germany
    2. Denmark
    3. Netherlands
    4. Putagal

...some of you should consider becoming comedians or something.

Football is unpredictable. To write off Portugal so early on is such a silly thing to do...gonna be quite hilarious if they surprise the majority of you and advance. HAHAHA can't wait.

Why hilarious? People wrote off Greece in 2004 and they went on to win the trophy. Was that hilarious as well?

No one is writing off Portugal, or Denmark. People are just stating that Germany and Holland are clear favorites, which is true.

I bet you can imagine that second video hurts especially much to me... It's still a trauma for many people. Losing to Spain last year ripped those wounds open again... The feeling of injustice because of that Hölzenbein dive and the fact we dominated the second half and Maier was having the game of his life.

I remember this game more fondly

But actually I am scared of Portugal.... they always win against us.... but this would be the ideal possibility to take revenge too...... just wish we had a easier group tbqh

If we draw against Portugal and Germany and win against Denmark, we should go through. I can see Portugal dropping points against Denmark, so I expect us to finish second place in this group, after Germany.

Lol 1992 er lang tid siden. Men man ved aldrig. Tror det bliver sværere for os at slå Holland end Tyskland. Tyskland er et kompakt hold men Hollænderne har et meget mere aggressivt hold.

    Realistisk set burde det stå
    1. Holland
    2. Tyskland
    3. Danmark
    4. Portugal.

Men hvem ved? Det er fodbold!

I too think people are writing of Denmark too easily in this group.

Sorensen in goal. Agger, Kjaer and Jacobsen in defence. Eriksen and Jorgensen in midfield. Bendtner and Rommedahl up front.

So they have a decent core with good organisational skills and will fight for each other.

Also Eriksen will look to stamp his name on the european scene at this tournament and will look at this tournament as way to engineer a move to a bigger club, so Denmark will have a decent chance of progression.

I can quite easily see Denmark's tactical discipline and organisation plus the creativity of Eriksen and the goal scoring ability (internationally at least) of Bendtner getting a draw against Holland and Portugal and even winning one of those games.
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.

Just because you name players, it doesn't mean they are quality. Sure as hell Bendtner ain't shit.

I do not know who the fuck you are but you have the best avatar ever.
May permanent peace be brought to the Arab world. My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost loved one(s). I wish and hope those who are creating religious, racial, regional, and tribal divisions among/within the Arab nations would be defeated in their quest for the destruction of the Middle East.
