Why are we so toothless this season?

Ok guys admit it, this thread was due for some time now.

I think nobody here will disagree that we have been looking quite poor this season so far compared to the 3 before this one, our main problem is we look very toothless, we lack the sharpness and edge we had in previous seasons.

So what do you guys think is the problem?

Are we simply not hungry enough anymore? Too much rotation? Too much experiments with new formations?

One of the things ive noticed and don't get is why are we not shooting more but instead want to walk the ball into the net everytime? Remember the triple season? how many goals did we score outside the box in that season and how many so far this year?

And pls don't come in here and reply something like we're just unlucky and having some bad patch atm because its not the results, its that we really don't look as dangerous or sharp as we did in previous seasons.

Teams are adapting to our tactics better and better. 3 seasons, it's been coming. Teams can't do it against Madrid because they mix it with directness.

All the reasons you mentioned have a hand on it. It's quiet normal that the team look less hungry after winning so many for consecutive seasons. Many times this season I felt the players playing with too much pride on the pitch. Like they win the games eventually so no need to working their ass off. The team is way slower in getting into the matches and definitely lack the sharpness they used to have in previous seasons.

But saying Barca is 'so toothless' this season is a bit exaggerated imo. They're just need to take the games more seriously from the start. Barca lost way too many easy points this season, which I believe had to do with Barca underestimating the opponents than the opponents being the better side, or Barca being toothless. The team needs to get their old concentration and grudge back. Then we see the same awesome Barca again.
