Read weeks ago that he was likely to be joining Ronaldo's Valladolid but Real Mallorca is obviously the much more exciting destination and Vicente Moreno is a great, great coach.

Hopefully he can help them stay up.

Apparently there's still a chance he goes to Valladolid. He's got two options anyway.

I watched him play for Castilla (it's on Youtube) and boy that's not the place for him. Kubo is much more compatible with better, higher level players. First division football will make him develop far more.

I know he's a Real Madrid player but I still like him; I love humble, technically gifted, little magicians. I hope he does well on loan. It's not his fault we didn't make an effort to bring him back.

This should be Puig's path too. Segunda B is too low level for him and should be loaned out to some La Liga team. He doesn't have a chance in hell in getting minutes with Valverde despite him probably being better option than the likes of Roberto in mid.

Would love to see Puig play for Real Mallorca under Vicente Moreno's offensive and dynamic football. However not sure if Moreno would be ready to gamble by giving continuous playing time to largely unproven youngsters like Puig and Kubo. Two might be one too many. Other than that the destination would be a very good one and would tick most boxes.

Had Pep been around, I would have kept Puig, but with Malmierda around it would just be a waste of his time and development. He deserves better than that and has an age (20) where he needs regular playing time at a high level (La Liga football).

We should look towards developing close ties with Real Mallorca. There are close geographical, historical, linguistic, cultural etc. ties between Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. That area of Spain is majority blaugrana too.

I take it you followed Mallorca closely and if the style is as you say, it boggles the mind why we aren't trying to loan them some players that are ready to contribute to La Liga level teams like Puig, Miranda, Oriol Busquets or Abel Ruiz.

And even beyond Mallorca, we should try to loan out around La Liga and other teams known for developing young talent way more, if not for the possibility of playing for us in the future, just for the fact that collecting dust in segunda B is not good for anyone at a certain age. We'd have way higher chances of selling better than what we do now by having them develop around quality teams. For example just this summer, RM loanees that are playing high level football are Reguillon, Kubo, Vallejo, Ceballos. Hakimi already has 1 year of bundesliga football under his belt. We on the other hand have loaned out Coutinho and crickets? Absolutely laughable management from the morons in charge.

So far he has 2 goals and 3 assists in 1.259 minutes.

Very happy for him.
