Which ever teams get 5th and 6th for the EPL are most likely going to be same or stronger than whatever team gets 3rd for La Liga. I just find it a little bit unfair that say Arsenal or Spurs have to miss out on a CL spot while Valencia can just walk right in.

And I seriously think both Arsenal and Spurs are better than whatever La Liga team gets third. Not so sure about Liverpool though, I've never really watched them.
Prove that superiority in the Europa League (by outperforming the Spanish teams), otherwise you don't have a case.

If the 5th and 6h place England teams start dominating Europa League, you might have a case for them deserving a better competition. Until then, all you have is wishful thinking.
