    Default Newcastle United F.C.

    Post your thoughts.

NuFC is the team I follow in the premier league. I watched the match today against Tottenham, and what a game it was. Both teams played pretty exciting, and it was fast paced. Was quite excited to see them tie it up near the end.

Last season was a disappointment after seeing Carroll go. Apart from Kevin Doyle he was my other favorite on Newcastle, but in the end both left. This season being back in the Premier league is quite exciting to me, and them doing well is a major bonus too. Like Levante, I still have doubts they can continue.

Newcastle have started well, but come the end of the season they will be nowhere near 4th place, however a europa league spot isn't out of the question for them.

Personally I thought they would struggle heavily this season so I am surprised by their start and they seem to have a decent team, though I do think in the end they will come up short for 4th place by a heavy margin. However their competitors for a europa league spot aren't much better, even though I'd probably atm give the nod to Stoke to get it.

Even so a top 8 place would be seen a great progress for them.

Not surprised by that though how can you support a club and waiver from that? and when did you start to support Liverpool? when we won stuff in 01?!

Newcastle need a stable period and there start to the season should see them achieve a nice midtable finish, maybe even a Europa spot. Hopefully, they can push on from there

I agree...the losses posted above I think hurt that chance this year. A Europa league spot is what I feel is achievable at this point in time. Bring in some new decent faces, and improvement is possible.

Sunderland were early bloomers. Had some wins at the beginning of the inception of the Premier League. The Derby is always amazing to watch.

kevin doyle, as far as i know, has ever played for newcastle. i'm sure u meant kevin nolan. regardless, i agree, it's nice seeing newcastle doing well and staying out of the headlines for the wrong reasons. wish them well, and looking forward to their coming games against united, city, and chelsea.

Sunderland have won just as much as Newcastle and have as much passionate supporters, so I don't see your logic!!

Well, it makes sense to me which is the most important thing to me i guess. Newcastle are much bigger and have better support imo
Eagerly awaiting the next Barcelona trip!
