I think we played really well and were able to be creative in breaking the parking bus curse. We have struggled before on such occasions, but it seems we have new tactics now to deal with a parked bus (more like a parked airplane).

It was basically a mix of run-ups and crosses.

Very happy to see everyone play well especially Villa and Pedro who are back into their game.

I would have loved to see Pep put a B team attacker on the bench and then let him play a bit.

These average position diagrams are great.

So, it was a 2-5-3 configuration for the first half. The ball recuperation of Thiago and Keita was superb, they stopped Bate forward movement regularly. Abidal is dependable out on the left wing, but both he and Keita are not aggresive enough to sprearhead the offense on the left side. Adriano is better than Abidal for this role.
