I didn't watch the France game so I honestly don't know how Ben Arfa played. I'll have to download the match and watch and I'll give you all an honest opinion.
From the 5 min highglights he looked like the only france player to have a shot and helped set up a good chance for Ribery.
From the news reports it sounds like the whole French team played like kahk thiking all their mere presence on the pitch would win them the game. Again, though I need to watch the match.
