I've seen him in quite a few matches where he was basically unplayable!

I'd imagine he'd be a great 60th minute game changer

Ben Arfa, Balotelli are the type of players who tend to well initially at a club but then go off the boil.

Ben Arfa is more than good enough for Barca though. It'd be someone other than Messi who can actually create chances and do something with the ball.

It would be someone other than Messi that would contribute nothing to the team off the ball.

Well you wouldn't start him in big games. He could come off the bench as an impact sub or start against some of the lesser sides.

As a short term signing it'd make sense. I wouldn't give him a good contract to milk us for years like Turan who offers nothing anyway.
