Thibaut Courtois

It's pretty obvious he wasn't fully 100% with coming back to Chelsea after his Atletico stint was done.

He wanted to stay in Spain but no one was willing to pay the money Chelsea wanted for him around that time.

I don't really see anything wrong with his comments, it's not like he pulled a dembele and skipped training or anything... or he isn't going behind chelsea's back, he's clearly made his interest known all the way back since 2016 so if chelsea aren't willing to sell him they know what they are getting themselves into considering his contract ends in 2019

He had a good first season at Chelsea but since then he looks like he's regressed quite a bit.

Not a good showing for someone who wants a move back to Spain.

The optics are bad on 2 nutmeg goals, but he could do nothing about the second one.

Any top GK worth his paycheck would have that open leg stance and make himself big in that scenario. You don't completely restrict your lateral movement and open up scoring angles just to avoid getting nutmegged, he made the right call. Messi's precision and striking power was too perfect, couldn't have stopped it.

Messis second looked almost identical to his 4th v Arsenal.

Not so much bad goalkeeping as Messi basically assess where keeper is and finishes. Legs closer togteher he probably sticks in far corner.

Yeah, won't blame him, even first goal was strong and from close range. Surely he hasn't lived much to expectations at Chelsea but he wanted out for long time so this could be a factor.

Dude is great in air, very good stopper but not on De Gea level, garbage with his feet and prone to lanky keeper Neuer-esque fuckups. Literally in every way the opposite of what Madrid need their keeper for.

Simeone can have him back if United come for Oblak after we get David.

He has been regressing at a steady rate ever since leaving Atletico (or after the 14/15 title). Not even a top gk anymore I think.

He didn't look happy ever since leaving Atletico for Chelsea and that affected his performance IMO. I think him and Hazard need to leave Chelsea in order to revive their careers.

In his defence Messi scores through legs of a keeper on regular basis. We shouldn't be too surprised about this.

First one's him, but he really couldn't do much. He's 2 meters after all.

Said he didn't expect Messi to shoot.
