Hello everyone,
I didn't see a thread on the most popular sport in Australia - AFL. I noticed that there are very few on these forums from Australia, however I'm just putting it out there to see if anyone knows about or is interested in this game. Having played both football and AFL at an amateur level I'd say football requires more skill/finesse and is more technical with fitness based on short and sharp burst runs wheras AFL is a very endurance based sport with a lot of physicality (and the skill level of more recent years has increased considerably). With AFL I know that the earliest a player could get up for the next game would be 5 days, although I believe you need 6/7 days to let your body recover from a game.
Anyone follow the Aussie game on these forums?

Judd is totally a shoe in for the brownlow too, magnificent player, I rate him over Ablett overall.

- it's unheard of!! But such is the life of a Western Bulldogs supporter (highly thanks to Barca's recent fortunes, I don't even feel all that miserable when the Bulldogs fail anymore).
