You can't score if you don't have the ball
Johan Cruyff
is the demo on ps3 yet?
the last pro evo was a fucking disgrace of a game, you could tell it weren't even finished.Going to play it before buying it this year.
The demo has been pretty great so far. The changes are noticable (Whole new defense mechanism, much better graphics, better off the ball movement, tricks and movement with ball are much more fluid, more challenging). and guess what? Playing as Barcelona actually feels like playing as Barcelona. It's also pretty cool that you can choose players like Duelofeu, Sergi Roberto, Gomez, and Bartra to play with the team. Also, you can actually get past defenders without being pushed off so easily with Messi.
Guardiola: "That's the beauty of sports, sometimes you laugh, sometimes you cry."
grr, waiting for the ps3 demo tomorrow
the pes 2012 demo was quite good i thought, but i didnt play the last one so.. made a change.
The demo is now available if you live in the U.S. I don't know if Europe receives updates later or on the same time but it's out here already.
Anyway, just played the demo with 3-4 full matches. Still the same shiit except Messi got a bit better. Also, a formation of 3-4-3 works quite well in this game. Just tried it against Arsenal and I had about 75 % possession, which is massive for a video game. Pressuring the opponent with the new defense system is quite fun, reminds me a lot of the way Barca presses and harasses the opposition until they get the ball.
Oh and Cesc is still in Arsenal in the demo...![]()

Big Kahuna Burger? That's that Hawaiian burger joint. I hear they got some tasty burgers. You mind if I try one of yours?
MMMM Hmmm this is a Taasty burger.
Hope that the new tactical defending is optional online, because if it isn't it's just gonna alienate casual players and make it easier for hardcore players that just spam the trick-stick.
From a gameplay perspective, Fifa´s been superior to PES for the past 3 years, and from the looks of it, this year will be no exception. The demo plays great, defending (headers, short and slide tackles)actually requires timing and skilll, dribbling is possible (dribbling in previous versions was/is close to impossible) while preventing 1 man Maradona-like move. Fifa 11 was a great product, but FIFA 12 seems to have gotten closer to what Real football should feel like
Good thing that developers really took aim on realism of the situation.
what the hell was that?
Catalunya no és Espanya - Catalonia is not Spain
you can actually pass in this game, a massive step up from 11 already.
"Who's going to answer the questions, Sir Robin Brave Sir Robin you go"
"uhhh i've got a great idea why doesn't Lancelot go."
