Xavier has scored 10 goals this season, not 9.

Maybe they count a shot deflected off the cross bar, and then a goal scored off the rebound by a different player as an assist, like some sites do. But I need to know in which games were those 2, to add here.

I counted abidal and pedro's assist, is that right? Pedro's was deflected by a valencia player, the other the gk gave a rebound.

Just put asterixes (*) next to Pedro and Abidal and/or put comments next to them. Something like:
Pedro 3 (1 of them doubtful)
