Sometimes you just got to ride it out, especially when there's no reason for being down. I know from personal experience it's a bitch to do anything when depressed but sometimes you just have to run on autopilot.

Was there anything in particular that motivated you to make this topic?

I'm down myself right now, and in the next few weeks it's likely gonna get worse before it gets better.

well a special friend of mine passed away the day before my birthday last year, and my uncle who took me to my first barça game seeing ronnie, eto, messi (#19), and iniesta in pre-season passed away a week ago. Not so sure if this is a depression thread or a trolling thread from the previous post () but whatever I feel down and I can't have 2 important people in my life pass away while I'm still young, and half of you seen my relationship probs too last month.

There are a lot of things to be depressed over like the London Riots.

I'm not depressed, I just got a free hairdryer.
    I found the thread!

exercise diet and a healthy sex life are some key things in battling depression in a med free sort of way.

To a certain extent that is true.

But I love our current global predicament. Because as Mao once said: "There is chaos under the sky. The situation is perfect!"

I've been feeling a lot better since I started running again personally.

Could still use a healthy sex life though.

Thank is good you are running.. yea getting sex on a regular basis helps alot with mood... even more so if it is with someone you care alot for. The food in America is HORRENDUS so is the obesity rate and what not.. I have never seen so many fat and medicated people in my life...

I typically eat pretty well but it's so expensive here, I go back to DC next week and eating modestly healthy (I still eat way too much red meat) takes up all my money. I probably paid half as much for food in Montreal as I do in Washington.

There's a reason poor Americans are so fat.

YEa sometime eating healthy is expensive especially if your a poor student lol. I only eat sweets and or red meat on weekends.. and no fried food at all no fast food.. This helps with my performance in marathons alot too Since i started running marathons I am VERY rarely in a bad mood or stressed

Yeah, there must be. It is almost a curse upon that country. They must do something about it.

Definitely. Banging someone you don't care much about doesn't make you feel good on a long haul. Particularly if that person cares for you and you don't actually feel much for her.

Food in US is not much worse than in Europe though. But then again, that depends largely on your lifestyle.
