Tello should be considered as well.

I like Tello too but Cuenca has the advantage of having played for the first team already

Good stuff! Great to see him involved and at the rate our players are getting injured, he might get a game to!

We have thin squad against Gijon with only 18 plays. Hope he gets some time as sub.

Pep seems to have a lot of faith in him, I hope he does well tonight...

For his starting XI debut and considering the whole team played shit, including Messi, he did very well.
(...) and Carrick was faced with Xavi and Iniesta coming past him, and Messi in behind him. That’s 3rd, 2nd and 1st in last year’s World Footballer of the Year award forming a triangle around him – he desperately needed help (...)

Barca hold a key advantage here again, however, where Busquets has carved out a niche in shadowing deep-lying attackers. He knows what they eat for breakfast.

Yeah, should have scored but did okay considering how awful the rest of the team was.

Needs to work on his confidence and end-product, but other than that he looked quite decent.

Definitely a performance to build on.

Did well. I think he plays better on than right.
He was confident. Was not afraid to take on defenders or shoot on goal. One of our best performers in the game.

didnt know he was some football freestyler, which is pretty cool.

Thought he was alright, shouldve scored, hope he gets another start at the weekend.
With Pedro/Sanchez/Afellay out for the next few weeks he will be getting some game time it seems.
