Yeh I love Emery's passion and character, but I do question how well he's done with Valencia. On paper 3rd place was a solid result for them, but look at how they started the season. It wasn't beyond them to maintain a title challenge for longer than 8 weeks, they gave us a hell of a game at the Camp Nou. Emery dropped Banega for aaages as a discipline thing, and they were a much worse side during that time. Banega's form took quite a while to return as well.

After the Supercup tie, first Clasico for La Liga will be December 11, 2011 at the Bobby Brown...although that could change depending on the Club World Cup

surely the 1st Clasico will be moved. either to the midweek of the 30th/1st (as the Xerez game was in 09/10) or, more likely, whatever's on the weekend of the 4th gets moved to that midweek, and then El Clasico is Barcelona's final Lliga match of the season.

however knowing the LFP, they'll wait until the last minute to decide. and then at the last minute RM will refuse any rescheduling, forcing us to play them 4 days before we have to play a match in Japan.

This Barcelona side should not be apprehensive about playing anyone. The fixture list is what it is, they will cope and win again
