It was just (welll not just, yesterday TBF) confirmed that Parejo has been transferred to Valencia for 6 mln euros. Since RM had a buyout clause, 30% of the transfer fee will go to RM which is 1.8 mln euros if my math is correct.

Mata, Soldado & now Parejo... Valencia is fast becoming a glorified Getafe![]()
I wonder why no Qatari Sheikh came to buy Valencia so far?!
Not expensive for Qatari Sheikhs I believe! Then what's the point of finishing behind Barca and Real when 3 other spanish clubs were bought by Arab Sheikhs? PS, Valencia is a already a great club in Spain unlike Racing, Malaga and Getafe. They have it to challenge Barca and Real with Arabs money. Beside, even if they stay behind Barca and Real in the leauge they can still try on europian stage. It's not more of a risky case than Malaga, Racing and Getafe.
Racing, Malaga, and Getafe do not nearly have the debts Valencia have. They are mad expensive too, how much do you think they will cost? Plus, at Racing, Malage and Getafe you dont have to spend that much more on new players because the pressure of winning is not there.
How much can you win on European soil? Especially that a lot of luck goes into it. It simply is not reasonable. Investors will wait until the club stabilizes itself, to see a good reason that their money will not just plummet.
Parejo is another excellent piece of business by Valencia. The attackers they've bought over the past 18 months have been great deals, just shows there are bargains to be had out there. I just hope they sort out their defence.
