There must be an extreme lack of communication between Lopez and Lucho. We're in desperate need of a LCB, and our best LCB is leaving the club after getting no opportunities, even though his partner is the #1 choice for the right spot...

Not to mention the CM/DM debacle that is Sergi Samper.

There is no excuse not to give any chances to those kids. None.
Lucho prefers to play has beens like Adriano's instead looking to the future.

Even Roberto only proven his worth because Lucho literally had noone else to play.

Next up, Gameiros and Nolitos. Quick fix without thinking of what will happen when this team gets too old.

Hell, even in the case of Sergi Roberto, he saw his minutes take a drastic cut when Arda became available, even though the old man hasn't been half the player Roberto is.

Hopefully we see some sort of improvement with the new talents coming up, but honestly, I see Lucho staying until the team gets too old for him to maintain this success, and then the next coach will have to reform the team on his own.

Hopefully both Xavi and Oscar Garcia will return one day.

Edit: Xavi Quintilla, not Xavi Hernandez. But Xavi too, of course.

This is on Gerard, not Lucho.

Guy did a few decent things, but went retard on plenty of other issues too.

Eusebio would've done better with this team and I wasn't the biggest fan of his. We ought to find coaches that know what they're doing for the B team to be a success and the players to develop in line for the 1st team.

Even with some of the reinforcements in January, it felt like Gerard had to find a way to shove Gumbau into the starting lineup.

With Fali coming in he occupied the DM spot and moved Samper up and with Xemi also signing+Kaputom, Gumbau lost his place in the Mid. So in order to make Gumbau, a starter Lopez converted him into a CB for the rest of the season at the expensive of real CB's like Lopez,Quintilla and Costa.

Lopez featured a lot more but guys like Quintilla and Costa were rarely called up and hardly played due to it. Even when Lopez, or Tarin got injured or missed due to cards Lopez, prefered Fali-Gumbau as the CB partnership.

Not surprised Quintilla is leaving, never was trusted.

This is so stupid. Tarin and Quntilla was a great partnership throughout the youth ranks and it was crapped on in favor of Gumball. Gumball should do us a favor and fuck off

Why everyone blaming Gumbau ? He wasn't even playing in the back line early on and Xavi still didn't get minutes in the line up.
Plenty of players fails at this level,Dongou was our brightest prospect b4 joining B team and he turned out crap when faced senior players
Gerard could be an idiot,or Xavi could have been just another prospect who didn't work hard and stagnated .At both cases Gumbau has nothing to do with this.

And lol at people blaming Lucho  .the guy gave Munir & Sandro big roles that they proved they didn't deserve and brought them almost directly fro Juvenil team.he blocked S.Roberto move at January 2015 and played him more and believed in him more than any other coach.Ssme for Rafinha.
There is yet a young player who proves that Lucho was wrong in not giving him minutes. In fact Munir & Sandro prove that sometimes he gave prospects too much minutes
And then you want him to give minutes for a player who failed at B team?

Really shocked if even Oscar Garcia didn't want him... Going to NEC must've been his own decision as it's a stronger league. If Oscar indeed did reject him, then he really must've gotten bad.
