    Default Farewell Petrinha

    R.I.P Petra

    Hesitant, disconsolate and a mourning heart wishes last respects and farewell to my beloved Sis, Petra. She demised on Friday of Pulmonary Emboli, of which i was informed only hours ago.

    A chief contributor to this place. To those far and close, she was a friend, mentor, philosopher but more so a beautiful guiding light. Her intelligence, Kindess, independence, selflessness, resilience & courage has been an inspiration.

    The connection was both emotional and intellectual. I could relate to her, just like she could with me. Our association was short-lived..But her memories will last a lifetime.
    She gave me a reason to smile, a reason to believe in myself in the most testing times. She was a fairytale, one which i hope i can live again..but Forever.



    So long, my beautiful Sis..I'll keep Loving you...

    I can't say that I really chatted to her a lot on here, but I know those who did and I feel for their loss tonight.

    I can't tell you the specifics of the tragedy. But she was soon to undergo an operation to have a vein in the leg removed due to blood clotting. The dislodging of a thrombus(blood clot) can lead to Lungi emboli (blockage of the lung's main artery or one of its branches). This can be fatal.
