I think it's better for Ligue 1 to have PSG spending 23m on Kurzawa than Aston Villa spending 9m on Jordan Amavi. At least one keeps French players in France while also funneling money back into the league.

And how many Ligue1 to PSG players moved ? ... you do realize that 98% of the money is spent elsewhere right ? in fact none of the starters in PSG came from another Ligue 1 team..

PSG/Qatar has bought the French league... part of the Qatar world cup "Incentive " package with Sarko & Platini... until the Qatari lose interest which won't be before 7-8 years... PSG will be all alone dominating the league...

Qatar wont quit PSG. I read in an Interview with Khelafi that actually Qatar didnt want to invest in french League and PSG. Their real targets were Berlin and AC Milan.

PSG has obviously been beneficial to Ligue 1, just not to marseille, sorry beast :p

The TV rights valuation and UEFA rankings should ring a bell. France would be behind both russia and portugal if not for psg, with a lower valuation.

They cannot invest in the German league.. the rules won't allow them .. there is exception but old exception like Wolfsburg ..
AC Milan is an ambush IMO.. you won't know what hits you with the creative accounting of Silvio & G

The price for the votes was the Germans getting the underground bid in Doha .. the French got both PSG, Ligue 1 rights & several real estate got sold in Paris in the champs elysees

L'OM will always be L'OM they have the fanbase and will always be there ..if you survive Bernard Tapie you'll survive everything..

UEFA rankings aside.. before PSG there was Lyon in the post Millennium , Monaco the CL finalist in 2004.. and in the 90's were Monaco , Bordeaux etc and 80's had the original Paris power house Racing Club ..and between them was L'OM greatest team ...
The Ligue 1 side are like the Spanish non-top teams .. they survive by making new stars out of thin air ..

the past is past. The positive impact that PSG has on the uefa rankings benefits the whole division, as does the tv rights valuation. The same can be said of all other performing french clubs, past, present & future

Amazing match from Paris. Not sure people realize how good Ibra still is or how much he'll be missed when he moves on.

Cavani finally showed up while Di Maria already looks great.

PSG and City will go far in CL this year, unless they meet a top 3 giant in early KO-Stage
Although I'd say they could beat a giant, they splashed just way to much cash, it didnt work so far, but they just continued throwing cash and at some point it just has to work.

----Cavani/Di Maria-------Ibra--------Lucas------

---------------------Aguero---------------------
----Sterling----------Silva---------De Bruyne----

Those are no jokes.

It was never about the frontline with City really. Besides, Pellegrini's average performances in big matches are quite organic so it can still go either way.

Sick pass from Angel. Doing what he does best.
