Griezmann was the best French player of the tournament and without him they wouldn't even be in the final...I cannot understand the thread title and the hate.
Barcaforum was all so quick to blame Aguero, Di Maria, Higuain etc. when Argentina lost, but hardly any blame falls on the likes of Giroud, Payet and Pogba, while Griezmann is crucified.
This is exactly what people on here get angry over when other football fans are quick to blame Messi for Argentina's failures but don't acknowledge the collective failure of his teammates.
This is hypocrisy guys.

Getting beyond laughable now. Neither France, nor Atletico reach the finals if it wasn't for Griezmann carrying them. And he's done that in a super-defensive system for his club where washed-up Fernando Torres is his strike partner. 
Let that sink in for a moment. If that wasn't enough, he's gotten his country to the final with turtle Giroud and Gignac upfront while being the primary goalscorer + playmaker. Not comparable at all to Higuain whose contributions throughout the tournaments were negligible (put any other Argentina striker in his place and they still would've reached all the finals) while missing sitters and penalties in every final. smh

Guy is still best player of the tournament, the choke thing in the final is something more for troll football, he had the better chances to score for France, hell, headers when Giroud was 1 meter taller than him and watching him deliver.
