You know when you play with your buddies but you have an odd number of people so one person plays for both sides? Usually in a pretty neutral manner.

That's what he feels like. He's just there. Receives it, passes it, meh. Like going through the motions. Just feels extra.

Like it or not Koeman has to try and get the best out of Griezmann. Just as Pep come in and tried to get the best out of Henry.

In theory, the idea of having Messi and Griezmann interchange is a good one (and Coutinho too although less) and Koeman will give Griezmann as much opportunities to succeed as he can.

But if he does not get it together then Trincao or Dembele will replace him in the second half of the season. We will be more rigid but also have more balance and width.

I think Griezmann should be Messi/Coutinho rotation player tbh.
He should be playing at the center,not as false RW
