best Barcelona player by a mile.

he doesnt give a fuck and just fights out there.

Emberassing to see Messi, Alba, pique, Busi, Suarez, rakitic besides this fighter with their small man mentalities.

Classic Barca move would be to sell him just to have only the cute boy in midfield who get overrun by any semi professional player.

Not the best Barcelona player by a mile. Not even close. Running all day long chasing the ball doesn't make you the best player.
He is at most mediocre while having the ball at his feet and offers nothing more than pressure. His pressure is not even good, as he fouls at dangerous areas too often and leaves huge amount of spaces open while giving chase for the sake of it. Teams counter attack as too easily when he is on the field, even though he runs a lot.

As average as he is with the ball at his feet he is one of the very few players who actually attempts quick one-two passes... Whether if that is a good thing or a bad thing, I will leave it up to you...

Also one of the few who makes runs into the opposition box to provide options for creative players or disrupt defenders.

Yeah, no one likes being benched but also it's annoying as hell to see these guys whine in interviews.

It's usually from the older guys in the team that do this, Alba back under Lucho, Rakitic under Lucho and Valverde and Vidal last season and now again.
